Meditation track: Binaural Beast

Face it: We’re lazy. We can’t even sit lotus and meditate today without an app or a track. The Buddha would not be pleased. But then…I’m one of us, so here’s the track.

Binaural Beast is a 10-minute meditation. Sit or lay down and breathe deeply and slowly from your diaphragm. Don’t force it. Then just listen with earbuds or headphones at a comfortable volume.

Binaural Beast was created with a Rav Moon tongue drum in Hijaz tuning playing the low D tongue. The note is occasionally reintroduced, but mostly is repeated by the Cooper FX Outward. This then feeds into the random loopers of the Discomfort Designs Phantom Limb and recorded with the TC Wiretap. Three recordings were made and matched up in the Loopy Pro app on iPad. There’s also some EQ and reverb added in Loopy.

I’m not charging for this track, It’s free to download. You also have my permission to use it for free in your own projects. (Please give credit.) And if you find this track helpful in improving focus and calming your mind, consider buying me a coffee below.
